Altarea Cogedim has signed a very long-term (emphyteutic) land lease for L’Aubette with Deka Immobilien GmbH. Located in Strasbourg city centre, L’Aubette is a property complex with 5,700 m² of retail units and 2,800 m² of holiday accommodation. 

Located on place Kléber, in an exceptional setting, the L’Aubette property complex has a long history and is famous for its abstract redecoration in the 1920s. Following on from the success of the Bercy Village project, Altarea Cogedim undertook this major redevelopment project, to breathe new life into this historic site, creating a cultural, tourism and commercial complex dedicated to contemporary living. It was delivered in 2008. The shopping centre hosts well-known brands such as Zara and Apple, which opened its store in 2010, making L’Aubette the first Apple store in eastern France.
This transaction is part of the Altarea Cogedim disposal policy, which enables the company to reposition its standing assets and focus its investments on major regional assets located in france's main cities.
